Buddhism and Hinduism

Hi Everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  Here is the scoop for the week!

World History- We are starting Buddhism today.  You will be working in groups to complete a worksheet and then creating a poster based on your questions.  On Wednesday we will be starting with Hinduism.  You will be getting homework today that will be due on Friday, 9/28.  You will also be having a quiz on Friday on Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism, and Hinduism.  

C PERIOD ONLY:  remember you have a 3 paragraph writing assignment due Tuesday, 9/25.  This assignment asked you to compare and contrast Confucianism and Daoism.

G Period:  Today we will start discussing early New England.  This should take us through to Wednesday where we will start discussing the Middle Colonies.  Friday you will have a quiz on Jamestown, New England, and the Middle Colonies.

A few extra announcments:

-Mid-term is Friday.  Progress Reports will be going home on Oct. 5th.
-I am after school today (Monday).
-There is a Freshmen Student Council meeting at 2:15 in Rm. 74.  All officers should attend.
