Weekly Update

Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a great vacation and found time to relax!  I have a few announcements for and then I will give you updates for the week.

1. Ms. Saba came in to all classes today to talk about the course selection process for next year.  Please make sure you are thinking about the courses you want to take next year.  Be sure to talk to your parents, teachers, and Ms. Saba about placement levels if you have questions.

2. Progress Reports for 3rd term go home on Friday.  You will notice that your teacher recommendations for placement level will appear on your progress report.  Remember this is the half way point for 3rd term.  If you are not happy where you stand there is still time.  See your teachers with questions.

Class Updates:

B Period-
Your App projects are due tomorrow.  Please be prepared to present.  You will be assigned homework tomorrow that will be due on Thursday.  Tomorrow, we will move onto the Enlightenment and French Revolution Unit.  We will start by talking about different types of government and absolute monarchs.  You will have a quiz on this on Friday.

C Period-
Tomorrow, we will review your absolute monarch homework and then you will be starting group work on absolute monarchs.  Tuesday, we will discuss Versailles.  Thursday and Friday, you will start learning about the Enlightenment.  Friday, you will have a quiz on types of government and absolute monarchs.

E Period-
Tomorrow you will start working on an activity involving absolute monarchs.  Wednesday you will finish this and then discuss Versailles. Thursday and Friday, you will start learning about the Enlightenment.  Friday, you will have a quiz on the different types of government and absolute monarchs.

F Period-
Today we will review the your absolute monarch homework and then you will be starting group work on absolute monarchs.  Tuesday, we will start discussing Versailles.  Wednesday, Ms. Saba will be in to discuss course selection.  Thursday and Friday, you will start learning about the Enlightenment.  You will have a quiz on Friday on the different types of government and absolute monarchs.

G Period-
Today we will finish the Decoded video we started watching on Friday.  Please remember that your projects are due tomorrow, 2/26.  Tomorrow, Ms. Nugent will come into class to discuss course selection for next year.  Wednesday you will present your projects.  We will then move onto Ch. 7.

Please see me if you have questions about assignments or your grades.  Especially seeing progress reports come out on Friday.
