Keep Calm and March On

Hello All!  I hope you had a nice weekend and had plenty of cornbeef and cabbage!  There are three weeks until 3rd Term closes.  That is plenty of time to increase your grades if you feel they are not where you want them to be.  Your updates for the week are as follows:

B Period-  You are still learning about the French Revolution.  We continued watching the French Revolution film in class.  Please make sure you are taking notes during this film as it will help you with your paper.  Your paper will be due Friday, 3/22.  You are expected to complete a 5 paragraph essay on the causes and effects of the French Revolution.  Thursday we will be starting the Industrial Revolution unit. 

C Period- Today and tomorrow you will continue watching the film on the French Revolution. Wednesday we will be moving onto the Industrial Revolution.  You will start with a groupwork activity which will lead into our discussion on the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.  Please remember that your French Revolution papers are due on Wendesday, 3/20.  These are expected to be typed.  

E Period-  Today we started the Industrial Revolution.  You started working on an activity in groups.  This will take us into tomorrow.  Wednesday and Thursday we will start taking discussing the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.  Please remember that your French Revolution papers are due on Wednesday, 3/20.  These are expected to be typed. 

F Period-  Today we finished the film on the French Revolution.  Tomorrow your homework on ch. 18 sec. 3 and 4 is due.  Tomorrow we will be starting the Industrial Revolution.  You will be working on an activity in groups.  By Wednesday we will start discussing the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.  Please remember you French Revolution paper is due on Thursday, 3/21.  These are expected to be typed. 

G Period- Today you were assessed on chapter 7.  You will be working on a project for the next week on reform movements.  You will be responsible for educating your classmates on your assigned reform movement.  Finally, please note the 10th Grade MCAS has been postponed to Monday, 3/25 due to weather.
