A few reminders to start:
1. Parent's Night is this Thursday, 10/4 from 7-9p.m.
2. Progress Reports for Term 1 will be sent home on Friday, 10/5. Please make sure you are checking Aspen and if you have questions talk to your teachers.
3. There is no school Monday, 10/8. Happy Columbus Day!
World History-
Monday and Tuesday we discussed and took notes on Hinduism in class. Your homework for tonight is to write 3 paragraphs comparing and contrasting Hinduism and Buddhism. Tomorrow (Wednesday) we will start discussing Islam. I am excited to teach this topic, as it is often a misunderstood religion. You will be assigned homework on Islam tomorrow and this should be completed for Friday, 10/5.
US History-
Monday we worked on identifying the 13 original colonies. You also got a good understanding of the types of economies in the colonies. Today we started discussing the colonies' relationship with England. Tomorrow we will start taking notes on this topic. You will be given a homework assignment to complete for Friday, 10/5.
Please make sure you see me if you have any questions. Also, if you are finding you are not understanding concepts please set aside a time to stay after for extra help.
