Weekly Update 10/9-10/12

Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!  Nice and long!  Here are some updates for the week.

B Period-
We started watching Inside Mecca today.  This will take us through class on Wednesday.  Please make sure you are taking notes on the movie.  This will help you with the homework assignment you will get tomorrow and that is due on Friday.  Thursday and Friday we will wrap up our World Religions unit discussing Christianity and Judaism.  Next week we will be working on the T-shirt Project (more info to come).

C Period-

G Period-
We continued watching the recent Presidential Debate today.  Starting tomorrow we will only be watching this debate the last 15 minutes of class.  It is important that you are taking notes on the Debate as you will have a writing assignment on this.  Your notes will be helpful.  Tomorrow we will be moving onto the French and Indian War.  From there we will start discussing the American Revolution.  Thursday you need to finish the 3-1: England and Its Colonies worksheet I assigned today.  Use your notes for this.  All of the information you need are in your notes!

Couple more announcements:
1. Progress Reports went home Friday, 10/5.  If you have questions or concerns please make sure you are talking to your teachers.
2. Mr. Loranger will be hosting a Freshmen Cookout on Thursday at 3pm.  Come, have some food, and cheer on the Freshmen Football Team against Sandwich.
