Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a nice weekend! Today was a pretty good day in all classes! Let's keep this up for the rest of the week.
World History-
All classes compared and contrasted Islam, Judaism, and Christianity (the 3 monotheistic religions) today. You should keep your notes from today as this will be beneficial when it comes time for you to study for the upcoming test (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).
Today, you also got your study guide for the WR test that will be on Tuesday, 10/23. Please remember you are only getting one copy; I do not have extras. Also, if you complete your study guide you can get up to 3 extra points on your test.
Finally, you received your WR T-Shirt project assignment today. All students were assigned a religion that you will create a t-shirt design around. Tomorrow and Wednesday all students will be up in the IMC. This will allow you to work on your project in school. The projects will be due on Thursday. The more you do in school the less you have to do at home.
US History I-
Today in class we took notes on the northern colonies. Tomorrow you will be completing a poster activity based on what you learned about the colonies in the North and South. Wednesday we will discuss the French and Indian War. Thursday, I have gotten the laptops. This will allow you to work on your Election writing assignment that is due on Friday, 10/19.
With your Election writing assignment, please remember the following are required:
-outline of essay
-essay is 5 paragraphs
-essay is well written
-essay is respectful to both candidates
-2-3 sources
-typed
