Hope you had a nice day off! Big day for our country! Here are some updates for the rest of your week. Don't forget that grades close this Friday.
B Period-
Monday we discussed the Electoral College and the importance of voting. You are to finish the reading we started in class and answer questions #6-10 from your worksheet. Wednesday you will continue working on your illuminated manuscripts. Friday we will start discussing the economic changes that took place during the Middle Ages.
C Period-
Monday we discussed the Electoral College and the importance of voting. You are to finish the reading we started in class and answer questions #6-10 from your worksheet. This is due tomorrow. Tomorrow you will finish your illuminated manuscripts and start taking notes from other's posters. Thursday and Friday we will discuss the economic changes that took place during the Middle Ages. Please remember that your DBQ is due on Friday, 11/16. We will discuss the DBQ in class tomorrow. Please be sure you are asking questions if you are confused. For many of you this is the first time you are completing a DBQ and they can be difficult.
E and F Period-
Monday we discussed the Electoral College and the importance of voting. You are to finish the reading we started in class and answer questions #6-10 from you worksheet. This is due tomorrow. Wednesday you will continue working on your illuminated manuscripts and taking notes from other's. You will also have a couple of worksheets to complete. Tomorrow you will also receive your first DBQ of the year. We will discuss how these work tomorrow. Thursday and Friday we will start working on the economic changes that took place during the Middle Ages.
G Period-
Monday we discussed the Electoral College and the importance of voting. You are to finish the reading we started in class and answer questions #6-10 from you worksheet for homework. Tomorrow we will finish discussing the ideology of the American Revolution. We will also take a look at the key battles fought.
Extra Credit Opportunity:
I will add one extra point to your lowest grade if you privately come up to me in class and answer the following question. Why do we have Monday, 11/12 off? What are we observing?
Other Announcements:
- Grades close this Friday, 11/9. Please make sure you hand in any make up work and you are checking in with your teachers if you have questions about your grades.
- The Freshmen Class is selling pies. All pies will be delivered in time for the holiday season. Please see Ms. Osberg or Mrs. Hughes if you would like to order one or if you have questions.
