Exploring the Explorers

 Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a nice weekend and found some time to relax.  We are 5 weeks from February Vacation.  There are 7 1/2 school days until Term 2 ends.  Please be sure you are checking in with teachers if you have questions.

B Period-
Today you finished your Explorers Map.  Tomorrow you will continue working on Ch. 14-1 Bookwork.  This will be due on Wednesday.  Wednesday and Thursday we will discuss Columbus and the Columbian Exchange.  Friday we will discuss what a colony is and Spanish colonization in South America.

C Period- Today you finished your Explorers Map and started your Ch. 14 Sec. 1 Bookwork.  This will be due at the beginning of the period tomorrow(1/15).  Tomorrow and Wednesday we will discuss Columbus and the Columbian Exchange.  Thursday we will look at a primary source from the Aztec Empire.  Friday you will have a quiz on Ch. 14-1, the Columbian Exchange, and Colonization in South America.

E Period-
Today you finished your Explorers Map and started working on Ch. 14 Sec. 1 Bookwork.  This will be due at the beginning of the period tomorrow (1/15).  Tomorrow and Wednesday we will discuss Columbus and the Columbian Exchange.  Thursday we will discuss what a colony is and take a look at a primary source from the Aztec Empire.  You will have homework for Ch. 15 Sec. 1 due on Thursday.  Friday you will be quizzed on Ch. 14-1, the Columbian Exchange, and Colonization in South America.

F Period-
Today you all had a special treat!  Ithacapella was pretty cool!  Tomorrow you will finish your Explorers Map from last week.  You will also start your Ch. 14 Sec. 1 Bookwork.  This will be due at the beginning of the period on Wednesday.  Wednesday and Thursday we will discuss Columbus and the Columbian Exchange.  You will have homework for Ch. 15 Sec. 1 due on Friday.  Friday we will discuss the Aztec Empire.

G Period-
Today we took a look at Hamilton v. Jefferson.  We will continue working on this activity tomorrow.  Tuesday and Wednesday we will discuss Ch. 6 Sec. 2.  You will be taking notes.
