Hi All! A couple of announcements before your updates for this week. First, tomorrow is a half day. Second, please remember the term ends on Friday, 1/25 (THIS FRIDAY!!). If you have any tests or outstanding work please be sure to get it taken care of BEFORE Friday. See your teachers if you have questions or concerns.
B Period-
Today you learned the terms colony and conquistador. Tomorrow we will look at History Through the Aztec Eyes. Thursday and Friday we will discuss colonization in New Spain. Your homework this week is to define the blue terms and answer the checkpoint questions for Ch. 15 Sec. 2.
C Period-
Today you looked at History Through the Aztec Eyes. Tonight you should complete the questions for this reading so you will be ready to discuss the source tomorrow. Tomorrow and Thursday we will discuss colonization in New Spain. Your homework this week is to read and outline Ch. 15 Sec. 2. You will have a reading quiz on Friday.
E and F Period-
Today you looked at History Through the Aztec Eyes. E period is responsible for completing questions 4 and 5 for this reading. F period will complete all questions tomorrow (we ran out of time today). Your homework this week is to define the blue terms and answer questions #2-6 on pg. 481. This will be due on Friday for both classes.
G Period-
Today we finished discussing the New Republic and foreign affairs. Tomorrow, Wednesday you will have a quiz on ch. 6 sec. 2. You are also to complete the primary source questions on Jefferson. This will be due on Thursday.
