April Announcements

Hi Everyone! 
Here are your updates for the week.  Please remember that report cards go home on Friday.  We are now officially in the 4th Term.  You should think about what you have done well this year and what you need to work on.  It is not too late to make changes.  This is the final push...make it great!

B Period-
Yesterday we discussed Karl Marx and communism.  This will be an important concept as we go forward this year.  Today we will be discussing technological improvements that came about during the IR and how it affected the work place.  Later this week we will discuss the rise of cities.  Finally, you will have homework due on Friday.  You will also have a quiz on Friday.

C Period-
Yesterday you were assigned a DBQ for the IR.  This will be due the Wednesday after vacation.  We will finish discussing communism today and then we will move into the technological improvements that came about during the IR and how they affected the work place.  Later this week we will discuss the rise of cities.  Finally, you will receive and optional homework assignment which you will be about to use on your quiz on Friday.

E and F Peirod-

G Period-
Last night you needed to read the Oregon Trail PS and answer the three questions I put on the board.  Today we will be discussing the Oregon Trail. Later this week we will discuss the expansion in Texas.  Please be prepared for a quiz on  Friday.
