End of April

Hi Everyone-
I hope you all had a relaxing vacation, despite the events that unfolded in Boston.  We spent a lot of time discussing and trying to make sense of the tragedy that occurred in our city today.   Please remember there are more good people in this world than there are bad.  Keep your head up and keep living!  Here are your updates for the week:

B Period-
Tomorrow we will discuss new ways of thinking during the Industrial Revolution.  You will complete a think-pair-share activity focused around these ideas.  Later in the week we will be taking a close look at darwinism.  You should be prepared for a large unit test next week.  Stay tuned for more updates on this.  Finally, your homework will be due on Wednesday.  You should complete the checkpoint questions and define the blue terms for Ch. 21 Sec. 3.

C Period-
Tomorrow we will discuss new ways of thinking during the Industrial Revolution. You will complete a think-pair-share activity focused around these ideas.  Later this week we will be taking a close look at darwinism.  You should be prepared for a large unit test next week.  Stay tuned for more updates on this.  Your IR DBQ is now due on Thursday.  Also you should compare and contrast the ideas of Marx to that of Smith.  This assignment will be due on Friday.

E and F Period-

G Period-
Tomorrow we will start discussing the expansion in Texas.  By the end of the week we will discuss the War with Mexico.  You should be prepared for a test on this material next week.  There will be more updates on this to come.
